DO YOU KNOW ‘PLEASE LOOK AFTER MOM’ ?

When I was soldier, I read this book. I read this book with awe, sadness, and empathy. During I read this book, I cried so much. While reading it, I memories of my parents. The plot of this book is old mom was gone.

The book starts with the sentence “Mom has been missing for one week.”
Her children – two sons and two daughters – and husband strove to think of all the plausible methods to locate her, but they all failed. They took turns talking to bring back their own unique stories and special experiences about her that had been residing in their memories and thoughts. Interestingly, the author uses the second person, YOU, instead of I.
This pronoun sounded much personal as if it is you that is faulty.

We readers are struck by the message that we should love and care for parents while we have been given chance. I understand that the family felt an urge to ask each other to take care of their mom, whose death could not be confirmed with their own eyes, as a way of relieving somewhat themselves from sorrow and helplessness.

It was a beautifully written, touching story that I really enjoyed reading.
